ABOUT 6TEEN SUMMERS

I am Nicola Evans, a Virtuoso luxury travel advisor based in Newport Beach, California, and the founder of 6Teen Summers

The name comes from a simple truth. From the year your child is born to the year they leave for college, you have sixteen summers. That number shaped how I think about family travel — and it is the reason I do this work.

I specialise in high-touch, fully planned travel for affluent families, couples, and multigenerational groups. Safari. Luxury cruises. Europe. The Caribbean. Private aviation and yacht charter. Trips that are designed around the way your family actually travels, not a template.

I am affiliated with Departure Lounge and travel under the Virtuoso network, which gives my clients access to preferred rates, exclusive amenities, and relationships at the properties that matter.

Every engagement begins with a planning conversation. If we are the right fit, I take it from there.

LUXURY FAMILY TRAVEL

Family travel at this level is not about booking a hotel and hoping for the best. It is about knowing which suite actually works for three children under ten. Which safari camp has the right pace for a family with a toddler. Which cruise line will feel genuinely luxurious rather than just large.

I have travelled to over 90 countries and I have two boys of my own. I plan trips the way I would want mine planned — with real knowledge of what works on the ground, not just what looks good in a brochure.

My clients are families who value their time and want the planning done properly. They come to me for Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, cruises, multigenerational travel, milestone trips, and the kind of holidays that stay with a family for years.

BESPOKE TRAVEL EXPERIENCES

Some of the most memorable trips I plan are not for families. They are for couples marking a milestone. A group of friends on a once-in-a-lifetime journey. A multigenerational celebration where four generations need somewhere that works for all of them.

What these trips have in common is that they require the same thing: a plan built around the people taking them, not a package someone else designed.

I work with a small number of clients at any one time. Every itinerary is built from scratch, with access to the properties, operators, and experiences that are simply not available through standard booking channels.

PREFERRED ACCESS AND PERKS

As a Virtuoso advisor affiliated with Departure Lounge, I have preferred status with many of the world's leading hotels, cruise lines, and operators. That means my clients receive amenities, upgrades, early check-in, late check-out, and on-property credits that are not available when booking directly.

These are not promotional add-ons. They are the result of real relationships built over years, with general managers, property directors, and destination specialists who know my clients will be looked after.

The value is genuine. The access is real. And it costs my clients nothing extra to have it.
